First Impressions

Dating can be daunting if you are just getting out and about in the dating scene. Many people just getting out there in the dating world, either brand new to dating or just got out of a long term relationship, tend to be nervous and make a fool out of themselves.

People will stumble over their words as well as their feet. The key to successful first impressions is to stay calm and focused. With a few simple steps you will be ready to head out to make some lasting great first impressions.

First things first, when you leave the house, be-sure that you are dressed comfortable but attractive. Do not wear clothes that you do not feel comfortable in or that you feel squeezed into.

You will look exactly like you feel. Be sure that your clothes are clean and stain free to avoid looking sloppy.

Keep in mind that actions speak louder than words. You body language will let a person know a great deal about you so keep your posture good and sit up straight.

It will help you to look confident in yourself. Also be careful not to drink too much alcohol as it will give you a false sense of security. It will make you feel over confident and end up making yourself look the complete opposite of what you were going for.

Keep the compliments flowing but don't over do it. If you over do it you will sound like you are trying to hard and this is a big turn off with first dates.

Sure there are people out there that like their egos stroked but first dates are neither the time nor the place for this. Keep it simple and let the other person know that you noticed that they took the time to do their hair special or that you like the necklace or shirt that he or she picked out.

Keep some light flirting going but again, do not over do it. You don't want to come on to strong and run your date right out the door. You want to make him or her feel intrigued by you not stalked.

Try to keep your bragging about yourself to a minimum. Remember that you are there to get to know your date better not sell yourself. You will seem shallow and vein if all you do is talk about yourself.

Try to ask your date questions about him or her. Most people love to talk about themselves so keep the conversation flowing and ask questions and listen attentively.

Above all enjoy yourself. You can tell if your date is genuine by his or her smile. Relax and let nature take its course. You will have a great time and leave a good impression if you follow the above simple steps.

Make sure you use good manners and always thank your date for a great evening. You will leave a good first impression as well as paving the road for future dates with your special someone.

It really isn’t that difficult to write your own unique articles. Sometimes I even use speech to text software such as dragon naturallyspeaking or even microsoft’s products to speak what you want to say and edit it later

Awesome, mind blowing article. I can never think of so many cases which you listed out and explained them.
Thanks..
