Surviving A Bad First Date

You have finally met mister right or so you thought. You get out to dinner and find that he is obnoxious. You want to run for the door but you have to much class for that not to mention your sister set you up with him so you don't want to hurt her feelings. What do you do?

The Embarrassment Date

Nothing is more of a date killer then your date making you feel embarrassed.

Perhaps the date starts out nice but it quickly turns sour as he tries to help you pick out the cheapest thing on the menu as he doesn't have enough cash to pay for the bill or he yells that it's your birthday so the two of you get a free dessert. Unfortunately dates like this happen.

Dealing with it:

The first thing to do is stay calm and be patient. Try and finish the meal and/or the cocktail then ask for the check as soon as you're done. Keep in mind that you most likely will never see the people in the restaurant again so there is no need to feel embarrassed.

Keep your wits about you. Remember that there is also a funny side to the entire date. You will have a great story to tell your friends and family. Your date has given you a great icebreaker for your next first date. Be nicely honest at the end of the date.

Tell your date thank you for the dinner or movie and that you would like to stay friends but the chemistry is just not there for you

The Narcissistic Date:

Your out on a date with who you thought was Mr. Right. The night starts out great until you get to dinner. He tries to order for you without regards to your opinion.

Then proceeds to do nothing but talk about him self through the entire meal. You get to hear about his job, his house his boat and his car. He doesn't even notice that you tried to get a word in about you.

Dealing with it:

It can be difficult to get through the date but you are determined to not walk out on it as you know your family will grill you. You can use this time to catch up on some mental lists of things that you need to do.

Your date will keep up both ends of the conversation and wont even notice that you have zoned out.

The Date with a Psycho

You got set up on a date with a friend of a friend who is supposed to have it together. When he gets there he is 15 minutes late and told you he was out drinking with his buddy and forgot about the time.

Through out the meal he is telling you all about his personal problems and how his family is controlling. It seems like the date could not get any worse when he starts crying about how no one likes him.

Dealing with it:

Keep conversation light and be careful. You do not want to run out on a date with someone who is unstable. You do not want a stocker on your hands. Tell him you will see yourself home and do not see him again.

Component of me feels a sturdy impulse to in fact get the model, which, then again, sadly, I just can’t afford. So I think about it a superior notion to wait to get a great replica version of this. The might sound not so superior to a large number of, but actually, for those who go for the leading grade , you are to become astonished by how awesome they can be.
